Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio (geb. 11. November 1974) ist ein amerikanischer Schauspieler, Filmproduzent und Umweltaktivist.
Seine Filmkarriere begann er mit Josh in Critters 3, bevor er in der Verfilmung der Memoiren This Boy's Life (1993) zusammen mit Robert De Niro spielte. DiCaprio wurde für seine Nebenrolle im Drama What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993) gelobt und erhielt öffentliche Anerkennung mit Hauptrollen im Drama The Basketball Diaries (1995) und im romantischen Drama Romeo + Juliet (1996), bevor er mit James Camerons epischer Romanze Titanic (1997) internationalen Ruhm erlangte. Er wurde für sechs Academy Awards nominiert - fünf für Schauspiel und eine für Produktion - und 2016 gewann er den Academy Award als bester Schauspieler für The Revenant.
